Office Policies
Appointments
Our office is located in Honolulu and appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We reserve time to do a thorough initial comprehensive examination, take necessary radiographs and records, and discuss any problems or concerns that you may have. Depending on the nature of your dental problem, you may see the doctor only for an initial evaluation. Subsequent appointments are scheduled according to the specific procedures needed.
A 24 hour notice is required if you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, or a fee will be charged.
Emergency Care
Every effort is made to structure your dental care so that emergencies are prevented. However, if a true dental emergency does arise, Dr. Kagihara can be reached at 808-368-6595.
Fees, Payment, Insurance
Payments for all dental treatment, and insurance co-payments are due at the time services are provided. We accept most insurance, but in the event we do not participate with your particular plan, we will still submit the claim, and you will be reimbursed directly. We do participate with CARE CREDIT should the need arise for an affordable extended payment plan. We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks and money orders.
A written estimate will be provided for all of your comprehensive dental treatment. If you have any insurance coverage, a pre-determination can be sent prior to starting all treatment. A down-payment is required for all complex or extended treatment, regardless of estimated payment by your insurance company. Balances not covered by insurance are due at the time services are provided.
